Job summary

Ascension is hiring for a Day Shift Registered Nurse in the Orthopedic department at Seton Medical Center Austin in Austin, TX. The role involves coordinating care with multiple disciplines, implementing patient care plans and communicating patient status to the team.

Required is an active Texas RN license and BLS certification with a preference for 1 year of RN experience. Schedule is full-time, with a day shift, at a major care facility within the Ascension system.

• 1 year RN experience preferred.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
