Job summary

SCA Health, part of Optum, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support perioperative care and teamwork for our surgical patients in Denver. You will assess patient status and develop individualized perioperative plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates hold an RN degree, current state licensure, and must meet BLS/ACLS/PALS requirements as applicable; OR experience is preferred. Competitive hourly compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
