Ascension in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Oncology Float Pool. The role involves coordinating care across disciplines, implementing care plans, and communicating patient status.

It also includes carrying out orders and helping with discharge planning as part of a patient-centered team. The position requires TN RN licensure, a nursing diploma, and BLS certification within 1 month of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing before hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
