Job summary

Mesa General Regional Medical Center (MGRMC) is seeking a full-time obstetric RN to organize and deliver high-quality care across Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum and Nursery. This role requires current Arizona RN licensure, neonatal resuscitation skills, and strong communication.

The position emphasizes safety, documentation, teamwork, and adherence to policies while supporting a positive, family-like work environment in Graham and Greenlee Counties.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing and current Arizona RN license.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification within three months of hire; CPR within hire window.

Requirements

Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager of Obstetric, is accountable for organizing and implementing quality patient care in the areas of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum and Nursery during her/his shift.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proof of highest level of education completed but not less than high school education or equivalent.
• Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Arizona Registered Nurse License.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification per American Heart Association and American Academy of Pediatrics. Within three months of hire.
• Maintains current CPR Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs.
• Maintains current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs within one (1) month of hire.
• Thorough knowledge of policies and procedures in total concept of Obstetrics, Labor, and Delivery
• Maintains continuing education in the Obstetrical/Neonatal practice area
• Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.
• An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.
• Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
• Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
• Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.
• Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• Current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
• Previous Meditech experience or other related electronic records systems.
