Job summary

Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center in Arizona is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. Under the direction of the Emergency Nurse Manager, you will provide high quality emergency care and returning outpatient services.

Must hold an Arizona RN license, CPR, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications, with strong communication, computer literacy, and ability to lift 50 pounds. Minimum 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent, and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proof of highest education completed, not less than high school or equivalent.
• Current Arizona Registered Nurse License.
• CPR, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications within required timelines.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Ability to use computer systems and data management.
• Must lift/push 50 pounds and be able to work physically.
• English language proficiency with excellent written and verbal skills.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Emergency Nurse Manager provides quality emergency and returning outpatient care.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proof of highest level of education completed but not less than high school education or equivalent.
• Graduation from an approved school of professional nursing.
• Current Arizona Registered Nurse License.
• Maintains current CPR Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs.
• Maintains current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs within one (1) month of hire.
• Maintains current PALS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs within two (2) months of hire.Maintains current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification from the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) or similarly approved educational certification within six (6) months of hire.
• Demonstrates knowledge of current trends in nursing.
• Ability to identify significant changes in patient condition.
• Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.
• An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.
• Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
• Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
• Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.
• Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit.
• Previous Meditech experience or other related electronic records systems.
