Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Travel RN Nurse Educator for Milton Hospital in Milton, MA for 13 weeks. Shift is days, 8 hours, Monday–Friday; 72 guaranteed hours biweekly on all assignments. Candidates must pass ECG/telemetry and medications tests prior to acceptance, with a strict pass score.

Requirements include MA RN license, BSN, BLS/ACLS certification, and 3–5 years of critical care experience. Prior PACU/ENDO/OR education experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Current MA RN license is required.
• BSN is required; MSN in education or CNS preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification with instructor credentials required before start.
• 3–5 years of critical care experience preferred and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate, mentor, and lead staff development in acute care.
• Assess educational needs and plan, coordinate, conduct, and evaluate programs (orientation, ongoing education).
• Serve as consultant, researcher, facilitator, and role model within nursing division.
• Lead initiatives across PACU, ENDO, central processing and OR as applicable.

Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments – these guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time worked

Candidate should have, at minimum, PACU experience and general education experience. The ideal candidate would have experience in PACU, ENDO, central processing and OR.

Qualifications

• Current MA license in MA
• BSN required, MSN in education or CNS preferred

• BLS and ACLS instructor required prior to start
• Must have at least 3-5 years of experience- critical care experience preferred
• Strong problem solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated leadership experience

This RN will assume the responsibilities of educator, consultant, researcher, facilitator, role model, mentor and leader in the acute care setting as well as within the nursing division and organization. S/he will assess staff educational needs as well as plan, coordinate, conduct and evaluate programs such as orientation and other supportive educational offerings for the promotion of adult learning, improved patient outcomes and professional development. These activities are implemented within the framework of the Nursing Division's philosophy, goals and objectives.

Must be separated from BILH for 6 months to be considered.

You MUST PASS TESTING PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER. PASS/FAIL ECG/TELE TEST AND MEDICATIONS TEST PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE- ONE ATTEMPT ONLY TO PASS Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions) tests are now administered by CCH via Zoom Protector meeting PRIOR to acceptance. We need RN s to test within 48 hrs of confirmation. 85% is the passing score, there is NO opportunity for remediation or re-sit, so we suggest RN s prepare for the test, leveraging the Study Guide provided by the client that include tips and answers - -
