Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient-centered care using established nursing processes. You will ensure patient rights and confidentiality while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to support safe, high-quality care.

Education and licensure requirements include an RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, plus Basic Life Support. Some units may require ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, or other certifications, depending on position and unit needs.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure with state board requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• One or more of the following certifications may be required based on unit/position: ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE modules, C-EFM, or other unit-specific certifications.

• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.

Position Details:

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules
- C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
- Other unit-specific certifications as required.

Physical Requirements:
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
