Job summary

Ascension Via Christi in Wichita, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg unit to provide compassionate, direct nursing care on nights in a full-time capacity. You will develop and manage patient care plans, monitor changes, and communicate with the clinical team to respond promptly to patient needs.

• Coordinate safe and efficient discharge transitions by collaborating with the healthcare team to prepare patients and families for the next step in their recovery journey.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
