Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus – Glick is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Neuroscience Center (6 West). You will perform detailed neurological assessments, monitor ICP, titrate medications, and manage surgical drains, ventilators, body temperature, and CRRT.

This role supports stroke and critical care patients, requires NIHSS certification, telemetry monitoring, time management and delegation. Rotating weekends and holidays; Ohio RN license and BLS required with BSN preferred.

Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00

Shift: 7a-7p/7p-7a; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays

Primary Patient Population:

• Adult


• Ischemic/Hemorrhagic Strokes


• Status Epilepticus


• Encephalitis


• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)


• Intracranial Hemorrhage


• Stroke


• Minor Neurological Disorders

Primary skills utilized/learned:

• Detailed Neurological assessments


• ICP Monitoring

Personnel RN will work with:

• LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Respiratory Therapy, Social Work, Speech Therapy, PT, OT, Dietary

• 24 beds

Required Qualifications:
