Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for the Neurology unit on the Day Shift, full-time. You will deliver high-quality nursing care to stroke and medical‑surgical patients, prioritizing safety and clinical excellence.

You’ll monitor real‑time clinical changes to enable rapid, life‑saving interventions, guide patients toward independence through daily living milestones, and manage the full discharge process to ensure clear transitions for

Qualifications

• RN license in Tennessee prior to hire date.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Diploma in nursing or equivalent.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

• 6+ months of acute care nursing experience
