We are seeking a patient-focused individual for a full-time Registered Nurse/Medical Assistant position in our Internal Medicine Department at the Burlington Kernodle Clinic location. Previous experience is required. BLS through AHA is required. EPIC experience is a plus but not necessary. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Qualified candidates should demonstrate excellent customer service skills, computer proficiency, and a strong knowledge of medical practices. The ability to multitask effectively while creating a friendly, welcoming environment for our patients is essential.

Duties Include, but not limited to the following:

• Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient intake, including measuring and recording vital signs, weight, height and medical history
• Room patients in a timely and professional manner
• Assist provider with examinations and procedures
• Administer injections, immunizations and medications as directed
• Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG's and vision screenings with providers order and review
• Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR EPIC system
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked and organized between patients
