Methodist Hospital in Minnesota is seeking a registered nurse to join our Med Surg/Telemetry team. The RN manages patient care episodes in partnership with patients, families, and other providers to deliver safe, quality health care, either through direct patient care or by coordinating and supervising care delivered by nursing staff.

The position offers a .75 FTE with rotating day and night shifts (12-hour).

Qualifikationen

• MN RN license required.
• BSN preferred; BSN obtained within 2 years of hire.
• BLS certification per AHA guidelines.
• Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles.

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.

Work Schedule:

.75 FTE - Rotating day and night shift with every 3rd weekend (12-hour shifts)

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree program in Nursing.BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.

• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
