Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Telemetry team. The RN will manage patient care in collaboration with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for patients and their families.

The schedule is 0.75 FTE with rotating day/night 12-hour shifts and every third weekend. Requires Minnesota RN license and BLS per AHA guidelines; BSN is preferred and should be obtained within 2 years of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minnesota RN license required.
• BLS provider status per AHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with people, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.

Work Schedule

Required Qualifications

Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree program in Nursing. BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.

• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
