Job summary

Mercy Hospital Ft Smith is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process, coordinate care with other departments, protect patient rights, and uphold Mercy Service Standards.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold an RN license (state or compact), and have BLS/ACLS; 1 year of experience is preferred. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits, tuition support, and retirement plans for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
