Job summary

Ascension is seeking a registered nurse at Ascension St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN to provide direct patient care and coordinate multidisciplinary teams. You will monitor patient conditions, implement care plans, and ensure orders are accurately followed across disciplines.

This role requires a nursing diploma, and current RN licensure with BLS certification obtained within 1 month of hire. Offering comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Required BLS certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from AHA or Red Cross.
• Certified Registered Nurse required before hire date.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s): Certified BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certified Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
