Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, NV, part of Prime Healthcare, is hiring a Staff RN for the medical-surgical unit. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with physicians and care teams, and monitor changes in condition. Candidates must have Nevada RN license, be able to communicate in English (speaking and writing), and hold a BLS certification.

Acute care hospital experience is preferred. This is a full-time, daytime position.

Responsibilities

The Staff RN provides direct care in the medical – surgical setting. Communicates with physicians /Nurse Director / Co – workers, as appropriate about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment

1. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred 2. Must be able to communicate in English (Speak, Write) 3. Current and valid Nevada RN License4. BLS (AHA) certification required
