Job summary

Saint Mary's Health Network in Reno, NV is seeking a Staff RN for the medical–surgical unit to provide direct patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team. You will monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition to ensure quality care.

Candidate must have English communication, a current Nevada RN license, and BLS certification; prior acute care hospital experience is preferred. This is a full-time day shift position.

Qualifications

• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English (Speak, Write).
• Current and valid Nevada RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• The Staff RN provides direct care in the medical – surgical setting.
• Communicates with physicians / Nurse Director / Co–workers about changes in the patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
