Job summary

Incredible Health in Nacogdoches, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse - Med Surg to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population with both acute and chronic conditions.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active RN license without encumbrances.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or similar setting.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement physician-directed treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and facilitate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care in EMR per policies.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Cardiac patients, Couplet care, EKG monitoring, Educator, Fundal massage, Healing, Neuro patients, Oncology patients, Orthopedic patients, Ostomy care, PCA pumps , Traction & cast care, Tube feeding management, or Wound & drain care.
