Job summary

Incredible Health in Laguna Hills, CA is hiring a Registered Nurse - Med Surg with experience in cardiac, ortho, oncology, and other units. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, administer medications, monitor patients, and educate families. EMR proficiency and a valid RN license are required.

Shifts available include day, night, and mid; positions are full-time, part-time, and per diem. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or similar setting.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including those with both acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and to facilitate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and their families on chronic and acute disease management, medical conditions, and post-discharge care.
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital and departmental policies.
