Job summary

Incredible Health is recruiting for a Registered Nurse - Med Surg in Hanford, CA to provide comprehensive nursing care for a diverse patient population. The role requires ADN or higher, active RN license, 1 year of Med/Surg experience, BLS, and EMR proficiency.

You will administer medications, monitor vitals, document care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support discharge planning and patient education.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active, unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong clinical assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population in Med Surg.
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and follow treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Cardiac patients, Couplet care, EKG monitoring, Educator, Fundal massage, Healing, Neuro patients, Oncology patients, Orthopedic patients, Ostomy care, PCA pumps , Traction & cast care, Tube feeding management, or Wound & drain care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license

• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care

• Educate patients and their families on chronic and acute disease management, medical conditions, and post-discharge care
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital and departmental policies
