Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg unit at Seton Medical Center Austin in Austin, TX. This full-time, day-shift role emphasizes compassionate patient care and collaborative practice.

You will implement care plans, monitor real-time patient changes, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, execute orders with accuracy, and manage discharge planning to ensure safe transitions.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Registered Nurse licensure required prior to hire.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
