Job summary

Coshocton Regional Medical Center, a 56-bed not-for-profit hospital in East Central Ohio, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care on the Medical/Surgical Unit. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, and guide patient/family teaching while collaborating with the medical team.

The role is full-time with day shifts. Current Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS required; ICU ventilator management and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct patient/family teaching and guide activities of nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care on the Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and respond to changes promptly.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
