Coshocton Regional Medical Center in Ohio seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient Services team on a per diem basis. The role involves direct patient care and close collaboration with physicians, surgeons, and support staff to maintain high quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with acute care experience preferred. Moderate sedation competency within 30 days is required.

• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Moderate Sedation competency completed within 30 days upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates changes in patient condition with physicians and team members.
• Coordinates care with surgeon/anesthesiologist and other personnel while upholding standards of care.
• Participates in performance improvement activities, unit meetings and in-services.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Out Patient Services setting. The Registered Nurse communicates with physicians, / Director of Surgical Services, House Supervisor and co-workers, as appropriate about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. The Registered Nurse is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. The Registered Nurse coordinates the care of the patient with the surgeon and/or anesthesiologist, directs and guides and other personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Out Patient Department. Works with other departments and co-workers to provide quality patient care across the continuum, efficient patient flow and unit maintenance and organization. Responsible for adherence to regulations, standards and hospital or unit policies and procedures. Responsible for participation in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings and in-services. Acts as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.
