Job summary

Centurion, proud to partner with the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, seeks a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Maryland Correctional Institution for Women in Jessup, MD. This role involves delivering holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Maryland LPN license, with at least one year of LPN experience in outpatient clinics, hospitals, or long-term care;

Qualifications

• Active Maryland LPN license.
• Minimum one year LPN experience preferred in outpatient, hospital, or long-term care.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required or maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Under RN and medical/psychiatric staff direction, address physical and behavioral health needs.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols in a correctional setting.
