Job summary

Ascension Health in Wauwatosa, WI is seeking a registered nurse leader for the Perioperative, Pain and Wound Management unit. This full-time day-shift role focuses on compliance, staff development, and delivering high-quality patient care.

You'll supervise hiring, training, budgeting, and policy implementation, ensuring regulatory standards are met while fostering teamwork and efficiency. Requires WI RN license, BLS within 30 days, and 3 years of experience with at least 1 year in leadership.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
