Job summary

Citadel At Saint Benedict in Niles, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team. The RN is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating plans of care for residents, ensuring high standards of nursing practice.

You will collaborate with physicians, supervise CNAs, administer medications, monitor vitals, and document patient responses. A valid RN license in Illinois and CPR certification are required, with 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current Licensed Registered Nurse credential.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed nursing care to residents per physician orders and standards.
• Document shift reports and ensure MAR/care plans are accurate.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary care areas and equipment.
• Supervise CNAs to ensure care is delivered per standards.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered within scope.
• Admit, transfer, or discharge residents to meet individual needs.
