Job summary

Citadel Health Care in Rockford, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. The RN is accountable for a group of residents during a shift, delivering care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

The role requires current RN license in Illinois, CPR certification, and the ability to follow regulations, document accurately, monitor vitals, administer medications, and supervise nursing assistants.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Maintains and updates resident charts and MAR per physician orders.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered and documents care provided.
• Counts controlled drugs with nurse at shift change and reports discrepancies.
• Ensures environment is clean, safe, and free from hazards.
• Directs and supervises CNAs to ensure quality care per standards.
