Paradigm at Bay City is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Matagorda, TX facility. You will provide direct nursing care, develop care plans, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations while delivering compassionate resident care.

Requirements include an active TX RN license, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and LTC experience; leadership and strong communication are essential. We offer health coverage, PTO, and professional development as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• 2 years’ experience in Long-Term Care preferred.
• Six (6) months experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred.
• Strong utilization knowledge of Point Click Care preferred.
• Computer literacy with Outlook, Office, Internet required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with the nurse practice act, regulations, facility policies, and prudent nursing judgment.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the residentCare plan per physician orders and guidelines.
• Be familiar with and follow facility policies and privacy rules in daily nursing operations.
• Provide prompt emergency support measures, including CPR.
• Develop daily and unit work assignments and assist nursing supervision as needed.
• Ensure nursing staff adhere to standards and protect patient privacy.
• Oversee nurse aides and coordinate with other staff to maintain policy compliance.
