Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks a Full-time Inpatient Registered Nurse for the Operating Room, delivering direct patient care in a Level 1 Trauma OR with 24/7 operations and specialized rooms. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer treatments, and evaluate responses while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include safety and quality initiatives, equipment troubleshooting, and participation in unit-based decision-making and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
• Temporary Practice Permit allowed until NCLEX is obtained.
• Strong assessment, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and patient-centered care.
• Willingness to participate in rotating shifts and weekend call shifts.

Role:

Full-time Inpatient RN in the Operating Room, providing direct patient care in a Level 1 Trauma OR with 24/7 operations and specialized rooms. Responsible for assessments, developing and implementing care plans, administering treatments and medications, and evaluating patient responses. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, educate patients and families, and ensure safety and quality standards. Participates in unit-based decision-making, safety initiatives, and quality improvement activities. Troubleshoots equipment issues and contributes to evidence-based practice. Actively engages in team goals and organizational metrics, with support from nursing leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
• Ability to work under a Temporary Practice Permit until NCLEX is obtained.
