Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks an RN to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced operating room setting spanning trauma, orthopedics, plastics, and reconstructive surgery. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a nursing diploma or associate degree, RN licensure, and preferably a BSN with about 2 years of experience; OR experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate degree required.
• RN licensure mandatory to practice.
• BSN preferred; about 2 years of experience preferred; OR experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in the OR.
• Educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment needs.
• Promotes safety, regulatory compliance, and professional development.
• Communicates care plans across multidisciplinary teams.
• Considers psychosocial, emotional, cultural and patient preferences.

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced operating room setting within trauma, orthopedic, plastics, and reconstructive surgery specialties. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient safety and quality standards.

• Responsibilities: Assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment needs; promotes safety, regulatory compliance, and professional development; communicates care plans across teams; considers psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and patient preferences.
• Qualifications & Skills: Nursing diploma/associate’s degree required; RN licensure mandatory; preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and <2 years of experience. OR experience is preferred but not required. Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient-centered care skills are essential.
