Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking an OR Nurse (RN) for a Level 3 trauma center. You will provide surgical nursing care across orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, robotics, thoracic, vascular, urology, and cardiology.

Job description

Role: Operating Room (OR) Nurse (RN) in a Level 3 trauma center, providing surgical nursing care across multiple service lines including orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, robotics, thoracic, vascular, urology, and cardiology.

• Responsibilities: Managing 5-7 operating rooms, delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including patient monitoring, assisting during surgeries, and responding to call requirements within 30 minutes. Float rotation may be required, and call duties are scheduled weekly and monthly.
• Qualifications: Valid BLS certification, a minimum of 1 year OR nursing experience, valid Driver's License or State ID, and completion of required employment paperwork.
• Skills: Ability to work efficiently in a busy trauma setting, excellent clinical skills, and adaptability to shift rotations and call schedules.
