Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients on the unit.
• Initiates and implements patient education and care plans.
• Assesss patients, think critically, recognize and respond to clinical changes.
• Assigns nursing tasks appropriate to staff skills.
• Maintains standards of patient care and accurate recording and reporting.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are available as needed.
• Participates in planning changes, improvements, and hospital safety programs.
• Contributes to infection-control policies and procedures.
• Responds calmly in emergencies and maintains confidentiality.
