Job summary

Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Ohio seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for inpatient, SCU and ED shifts. The RN will plan, direct, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care under supervision, including education and medication administration.

The role requires an Ohio RN license, CPR/ACLS/PALS per AHA, and basic computer skills. BSN preferred with additional pay for BSN; nights schedule and weekend/holiday rotations apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Active State of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• CPR certification per AHA.
• ACLS and PALS certifications per AHA.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides total nursing care to patients on inpatient units, SCU and ED under supervision.
• Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care and patient education.
• Administer medications and intravenous solutions and document accurately.
• Respond to clinical changes rapidly and coordinate with the nursing team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and adhere to hospital policies.
