Job summary

Hocking Valley Community Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our team. Under general supervision, you will plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care for patients in the unit, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and patient-centered care.

This part-time role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active Ohio RN license, with BSN preferred. CPR certification and basic computer skills are required to support efficient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Active State of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• CPR - approved by the American Heart Association.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care on the unit.
• Initiate patient education and care plans.
• Assess patient condition and respond to clinical changes.
• Administer medications and IV solutions as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate recording and reporting and ensure readiness of supplies and equipment.
• Participate in hospital safety, infection control, and quality improvement activities.
