Job summary

Hocking Valley Community Hospital seeks a BSN-preferred registered nurse to lead total nursing care on the unit and oversee patient education and care plans.

Under supervision, you will assess clinical changes, assign tasks, administer medications, document and report accurately, and participate in safety and infection-control programs to ensure high-quality care and positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Active RN license (Ohio).
• CPR certification (AHA).
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and evaluates total nursing care on the unit.
• Implements patient education and care plans.
• Assesses clinical changes and responds rapidly.
• Assigns nursing tasks appropriately by skill level.
• Adminsisters medications and IV solutions correctly.
• Maintains accurate patient care documentation.
• Participates in safety and infection-control programs.
• Supports hospital policies and confidentiality.
