Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Level II Competent Registered Nurse to provide direct, patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to apply evidence-based knowledge, delivering safe and effective care across assigned patients.

The role requires a BSN and an active RN license with at least 1 year of RN experience. BLS CPR is required at hire, and you will participate in professional development, orientation, and quality improvement

Qualifications

• RN license (valid) required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in OR or similar.
• BSN is required.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care with licensed/unlicensed staff.
• Coordinate patient/family involvement in care and discharge planning.
• Communicate plan of care to health team members.
• Assist leadership to define standards of excellence in patient care.
• Participate in performance and quality improvement activities.
• Orient new staff members.
• Act as liaison on policies and procedures for nurses and health team.
• Support daily operational activities for patient/staff safety.
