Job summary

Western Wisconsin Health is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Nurse to join our birth center team. Work under the direction of a physician or CNM to provide evidence-based nursing care to childbearing women, newborns, and families.

We offer a $6,000 signing bonus with $3,000 paid on the first paycheck and $3,000 after 6 months. Current openings require RN license in Wisconsin and at least 1 year of L&D experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing – ADN or BSN.
• CPR certification for adults and pediatric.
• Wisconsin RN license.
• 1+ years experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nursing care to childbearing women, newborns, and families.
• Work under the direction of a licensed physician or CNM credentialed at Western Wisconsin Health.

Work under the direction of a licensed physician or certified nurse midwife credentialed at Western Wisconsin Health. Provide evidence-based nursing care specific to the childbearing women, newborn infants, and families based on evidence-based practice. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing – Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• CPR certification for adults and pediatric
• Wisconsin RN license
• 1+ years experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification, or ability to certify upon hire
• Fetal monitoring class (required to be successfully completed during OB orientation)
• International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBCLC) or Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
