Job summary

Incredible Health in Grand Blanc, MI is hiring a Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology to join a hospital recognized for excellence in patient care.

You will assist radiologists, monitor contrast, educate patients, and document care throughout radiologic procedures, with day shifts and opportunities for full-time, part-time, or per diem work.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including the use of contrast media
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring that any allergic reactions or complications are promptly addressed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
