Job summary

Incredible Health in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse to support interventional radiology procedures and imaging. You will work with radiologists, administer IV contrast, and ensure patient safety before, during, and after procedures.

Requirements include ADN or higher in nursing, an active RN license, and 1 year radiology/ICU/high-acuity experience; BLS/ACLS and EMR proficiency are expected. Shifts: day shift; types: full-time, part-time, per diem.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing is required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year radiology, ICU, or high-acuity clinical experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and contrast safety.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other professionals during imaging and IR procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents; manage reactions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care per hospital policies.

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Tacoma, WA area for the following position: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology. Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Interventional radiology, Nuclear medicine, or Sedation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including the use of contrast media
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring that any allergic reactions or complications are promptly addressed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies

Salary: $77,500 to $127,620 /year
