Incredible Health in Manteca, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Interventional Radiology to join our hospital partners. The role involves assisting radiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures, administering IV contrast, and coordinating patient care across the imaging team.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN or higher, active RN license, and 1 year in radiology/ICU or high-acuity settings, with BLS/ACLS certification and proficiency in EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in nursing (ADN or above).
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications per AHA guidelines.
• Strong understanding of radiologic procedures and safety, including contrast media.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and healthcare teams during imaging and interventional procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents; manage reactions/complications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care pre-, during, and post-procedure.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care and risks/benefits.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care per policies.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association

• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring that any allergic reactions or complications are promptly addressed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
