Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Interventional Radiology unit in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities include assisting radiologists during imaging and IR procedures, administering contrast, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the care pathway.

The ideal candidate has an ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and familiarity with EMR systems. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• Strong understanding of radiologic procedures and safety protocols
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during diagnostic imaging exams and interventional procedures
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents and manage allergic reactions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care and risks/benefits
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation per hospital policies

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred

• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring that any allergic reactions or complications are promptly addressed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
