Job summary

The Interventional Radiology RN role at Incredible Health in El Paso, TX is a full-time position supporting radiology procedures and patient care in a high-acuity setting.

You will assist radiologists, manage IV contrast, educate patients, and ensure accurate documentation while collaborating with the healthcare team. Shift options include day, night, and mid shifts with multiple employment types available.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1 year radiology/high-acuity clinical experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong understanding of radiologic procedures and contrast safety; EMR proficient.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and healthcare professionals during diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents and manage allergic reactions or complications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care before, during, and after radiologic procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care, risks, and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation per hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including the use of contrast media
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems
