Job summary

Incredible Health in Tucson, AZ seeks a Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology to join a hospital team. The role supports diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures, administers IV contrast, and collaborates with radiology staff to ensure patient safety.

Requires ADN, active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and EMR proficiency; experience in radiology or high-acuity settings preferred. Eligible for full-time, part-time, or per diem roles.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including the use of contrast media.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring that any allergic reactions or complications are promptly addressed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies.

Salary: $61,340 to $100,360 /year
