Job summary

Abrazo Arrowhead Campus, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional bedside care and supervise other staff when needed. You’ll coordinate care with multiple disciplines and participate in hourly rounding while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications include a nursing degree, ARIZ RN license, ACLS/PALS within orientation, and NICU/OB experience. This is a fast-paced, team-driven environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire.
Two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
Arizona RN license; CPR. ACLS as applicable by facility.
ER/ICU: ACLS required on orientation; PALS/ENPC within 90 days.
NRN: NRP required on orientation for postpartum, nursery, L&D.
Bariatrics: certification or training in bariatrics.
Wound care: wound-ostomy certification or training.

Responsibilities

Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational and discharge needs on admission and ongoing.
Determines nursing diagnosis based on assessment and data analysis.
Sets patient outcome goals with input from patient and family.
Individualizes plan of care based on patient needs.
Implements orders and monitors status for current patient condition.
May be in charge for a shift as needed.
