Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and to coordinate care with other departments. The role emphasizes accountability, confidentiality, and adherence to Mercy Service Standards and mission.

Candidate must graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold an active RN license, and have at least 1 year of experience. Current lifesupport certifications are required within 90 days of hire (BLS; ACLS/PALS for CC/ED as applicable).

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Life support certification current upon hire (BLS); CC/ED require ACLS/PALS as specified.
• 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates care effectiveness provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality in accordance with standards.
