Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, maintain patient rights, and coordinate care with other departments. You will be accountable for the care delivered and uphold Mercy Service Standards.

You must hold an RN license in the hiring state or a compact license and complete BLS within 30 days of hire. Unit-specific certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
