Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma seeks a registered nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process and to coordinate with other departments while upholding Mercy Service Standards and patient confidentiality.

Required education includes an RN from an accredited program (ADN, Diploma or BSN) and an active license in the hiring state or a compact license. BLS/ACLS/PALS are required according to unit (MS/WC/CC/ED).

Qualifications

• RN education: ADN, Diploma or BSN.
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• 1 year of nursing experience.
• Life support certification current upon hire (BLS for MS/WC; BLS/ACLS/PALS depending on unit).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
