Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process. You will evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and Mercy standards.

Required education (AD/Diploma/BSN), active RN license or compact licensure in Oklahoma, and at least 1 year of experience. Depending on unit, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are expected within Mercy timelines; Mercy offers strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Life support certification current on hire and within Mercy policy 90 days after hire.
• For MS/WC units, BLS; CC requires BLS/ACLS; ED requires BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Duties performed in accordance with Mercy mission, values and Standards.
