Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse Imaging Special Procedures PRN to join our team in Largo, FL. This on-site role supports invasive radiology procedures, providing pre-, intra-, and post-care planning and execution with physicians and the care team.

The ideal candidate holds an RN with an associate degree and has ACLS, BCLS, and NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of employment. This PRN position offers exposure to advanced cardiac and imaging procedures within a leading

• RN with Associate Degree is required.
• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of invasive radiology patients; pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
• Assist physicians in procedures.
• Identify, determine, and ensure all appropriate equipment is available for procedures. Ensure room is set up in a timely manner.
• Monitor patients during procedures and document appropriately.
• Continuously assess, monitor, record and communicate patient condition and act appropriately.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.

Job Summary And Qualifications

What you will do in this role:
