Job summary

HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is seeking a PRN IR RN to join our imaging team. The Radiology Nurse will provide patient care across the lifespan within the Imaging Department, including contrast administration and sedation as needed.

The role reports to the Medical Director and Imaging Director and requires a RN license with certification within 30 days of employment. Qualifications include ACLS and BLS within 30 days, 3–5 years of clinical experience, and familiarity with ICU/CCU/OR/imaging

• Active RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain patient care in the Imaging Department for all ages.
• Administer contrast media and medications or sedations as needed.
• Operate under supervision of Medical Director and Imaging Services Director.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiology Nurse assumes, under the direction of the Medical Director and the Director of Medical Imaging Services, the initiation and/or continuance of patient care in the Imaging Department for patients of all ages, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric, as required. The Radiology Nurse is also responsible for the injection of contrast media and any medications or sedations which the patient may require while in the Imaging Department.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Associate Degree
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of clinical experience preferred
• ICU/CCU/OR/Imaging Experience, Sedation Experience, Pediatric and Adults preferred
